Plant identification

Children become woodland plant detectives, hunting for leaves, stems and flowers, learning to spot common species before creating their own nature-printed fabric to take home.

Teddy shelter build

Using sticks, leaves and teamwork, children design and build a cosy woodland shelter for Teddy – a brilliant blend of creativity, problem-solving and outdoor adventure.

Bug hunt

Children dive into the miniature world of woodland minibeasts, discovering hidden habitats, identifying bugs up close and enjoying fun, bug-themed games along the way.

Acorn hunt – Autumn only

A seasonal favourite where children explore Autumn changes, gather acorns to “help the animals”, and learn how mighty oak trees grow from tiny seeds.

Eco warriors

Your young eco champions will explore the forest, create clay Tree Guardians and discover simple ways to protect nature and care for their woodland world.

Free-play areas

From mud kitchens to tarp dens and imaginative woodland zones, children roam freely, experiment boldly and turn the forest into their own adventure playground.
