Get settled in the woodlands for days full of outdoor adventure!
On a Bushcraft residential each school gets their very own private camp – this ensures that the students have exclusive access to the facilities and activities, maximizing their time and allowing for a fuller experience. Students and teachers will enjoy the experience of woodland camping without being overcrowded and cramped.
Camps are comprised of a central yurt – where evening campfires and other activities take place – with bell tents that sleep 10 students each surrounding it. In addition, camps have separate toilet facilities for boys, girls and adults.
At The Bushcraft Company, we take pride in the level of quality of care we provide, so our Bushcraft staff are with you 24-hours and there are multiple first aid trained members on site at all times. Every school will have the same Bushcraft team throughout their entire trip, so we really get to know the students and teachers. We also understand that residentials should be a fun and enjoyable time for teachers too, which is why our staff run all the activities up until bedtime – there is no pressure on school staff to entertain students while on camp!
On camp you’ll be getting all your daily meals and snacks to ensure you’re fully energised for the activities and fun. All our camps have a central kitchen which provides hearty and tasty food for all on camp! Also not to miss is our wilderness cookery, where students will help cook their meals while nestled between the trees.
