At The Bushcraft Company, our whole purpose is to bring young people closer to the natural world, to help them feel it, understand it, and want to protect it. So when the opportunity came to partner with Evertreen and make that commitment tangible, it felt less like a decision and more like a clear next step.

We’re proud to announce that every school trip booked in 2026 with us will result in a tree being planted in Madagascar, one of the world’s most ecologically important and biodiverse regions. This is made possible through our new partnership with Evertreen, a global tree-planting platform on a mission to transform the world, one tree at a time.

About Evertreen

Evertreen’s approach goes well beyond simply putting trees in the ground. Their team uses GPS field verification, geotagged photography, drone mapping, and satellite monitoring to track every planting site over time, so you can be confident that the tree planted in your name is genuinely thriving.

Madagascar was chosen for its extraordinary ecological significance. The island is home to species found nowhere else on Earth, yet decades of deforestation have put its forests under serious pressure. Every tree planted there is a meaningful act of restoration, not just for wildlife, but for the local communities whose livelihoods depend on healthy forests.

Connecting nature one tree at a time

We’ve always believed that the best outdoor education inspires a love of nature that lasts a lifetime and now your students’ adventure is helping protect it too. Every booking is now part of something bigger: a growing forest, a restored ecosystem, and a story your students can carry with them long after the campfire has gone out.

“The best outdoor education does more than teach skills, it builds a genuine connection between young people and the natural world. Partnering with Evertreen feels like the natural expression of that belief. Every child who comes on a trip with us will now know that their adventure has helped restore a corner of the planet. That’s something really special, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’re building together.”
